I can, you can, we can.

Red Nose Day March 2023

Red Nose Day is on Friday 17 March and we will join thousands of schools up and down the country coming together to spread joy and have fun.

The theme this year is: To make people smile

The school council have come up with lots of ideas of how we can celebrate in school and they have decided they would like:

  • Everyone to wear RED – This could be a red t-shirt, red socks or as simple as a red hat or headband.
  • All children to have the chance to make their own funny red noses in school
  • To create a kind words wall – Hanging lots of kind words on our school horse Joey
  • Everyone to tell each other funny jokes throughout the day in their year groups and classes

We look forward to raising awareness and understanding of why we celebrate Red Nose Day in school and we will be having lots of discussions throughout the day.

Nursery 2's really enjoyed Red Nose day. They shared lots of jokes, read a kind friend story, decorated red noses and drew lots of nose pictures using red paint sticks, crayons and felt tips. Click the link to see more pictures from Nursery 2's

Nursery had lots of fun on Red Nose day. They experimented with Red paint to create lots of art pieces, they told each other jokes and shared a book about being kind. This lead to lots of discussion and sharing of kind words which were hung on our school horse Joey. Click the link to see more pictures from Nursery:

Reception have loved taking part in Red Nose day and dressing up in Red. They took part in adding kind words to our school horse Joey and creating red noses. Click the link to see more pictures from Reception

Year 2 enjoyed Red Nose Day... They loved making Red noses in class, telling each other jokes and making a joke book to take home. Year 2 also created a paper chain with lots of Kind words which was draped over our school horse Joey. :Click the link to see more pictures from Year 2
