The School Council chose this year to collect food for Pallion Action Group for our Harvest Collection. The children and Mrs Taylor had a meeting to decide what they thought would be best to collect to help people and how we could help families in our local area. The School Council chose to collect food and then picked Pallion Action Group as they helped lots of our families during lockdown. The School Council then shared their ideas with their classes and a letter went out to ask for donations.
We had a fantastic response from our families and received lots of donations. Karen Noble from Pallion Action group came to meet our School Council children on Tuesday 9th November and collect all the donations. Karen was overwhelmed with the amount of food and was very thankful.
These donations will help lots of families within our community and we are very grateful to all our families who donated.
