World Mental Health Day
This week we raised awareness of Mental Health. The theme this year is ‘Make Mental Health and Well-Being for All a Global Priority'. We focussed on Kindness and Mental Health. After discussing different ways to be kind and keep our mind healthy, we completed a yoga session. This really helped to relax our bodies, and minds! We read 'The Colour Monster' and discussed different feelings and emotions, and expressed how we were feeling. Then, we discussed the 5 ways of wellbeing. To end the day we listened to the story 'What I Like About Me'. Following this, we used mirrors and drew ourselves, talking about what we like about ourselves.
