Diamond Hall Infant Academy provides education for children from 2-7 years. We have a Nursery class and then three year groups in the Infant School. The environment we provide through the whole school from Nursery to Year 2 is very calm, natural and nurturing enabling the children to become self confident, engaged, motivated learners. Our provision values learning inside and outdoors and within the local area. The children are supported in thinking for themselves, in making good decisions and in achieving a good level of basic skills to equip them for life.
The team at Diamond Hall Infant Academy works hard to provide a very strong foundation for each child’s early education and future life. We are committed to achieving high standards and also to working with and enjoying our wider school community.
We are proud of what we do and we are proud of our school.
Please feel free to read about the history of our School from opening in 1878 to becoming an Academy in July 2013 (click on the link below). This presentation is a wonderful look through time past and has inserts from "Log Books" held by the Head Teachers throughout the years. Our School is steeped in Sunderland's history.
